Founded in 1990 by Sean Burke and a co-partner, Northern Heritage Builders began as a residential and commercial construction company, with an emphasis on the latter.  Later incorporated in 1995 with Sean as the sole owner and CEO, the company began to re-define itself with an emphasis on the luxury residential market.  The focus on the high-end market niche was a natural progression, as the experience in commercial and municipal building has brought enhanced methods to this type of residential construction.  From permits to contracts, precise scheduling to on-target budgeting, integrated management structure to accountable field managers, scope of the projects (3,000sf to 23,000sf) to the minute details, every operational step is in synch.  NHB has developed a reputation with architects, trade partners, and most importantly, clients, as a dependable firm that will deliver a seamless building experience on a consistent basis.

As Northern Heritage Builders, Inc. has evolved over the past fifteen years, so has its operational structure.  From inception to completion, a project passes through an impressive infrastructure, ensuring a thorough, accurate, and well-communicated experience every time.  In May of 2005, the company relocated its main office to a newly renovated property in Hyannis, MA that houses the internal departments of project management, estimating, accounting, sales and marketing, human resources, and interior design consulting.  In total, the NHB team consists of twenty-two employees. "Our style of building is a highly collaborative and highly structured process," stated Sean Burke.  "What differentiates us is the integrated team approach to project management." 

NHB's ability to establish client relationships and exceed their expectations speaks for itself.  Clients have chosen us as a second time for additional homes and appreciate our ability to flex into a new geographic market for them.  Additionally, several projects have been the result of existing client referrals. NHB clients are partners, and our future includes expanding our services to where our clients are, including, but not limited to, select locations along the Eastern Seaboard.
